What is Prompt Configuration?
Prompt Configuration is where you define how your persona thinks, communicates, and responds to users. Think of it as programming your persona’s “brain” and personality. The more detailed and specific you are, the better your persona will represent you.

Accessing Prompt Configuration
Navigation Path
- Go to Dashboard → Personas
- Click on a persona card
- Select Persona Settings (or click the gear icon)
- In the left sidebar, click Prompt Configuration
Page Structure
The Prompt Configuration page is organized into 4 collapsible sections:
1. About Your Persona (Essential - Always Visible)
- How should your persona introduce itself?
- What topics can your persona help with?
2. Goals & Audience (Essential - Always Visible)
- What should conversations achieve?
- Who will chat with your persona?
- How should your persona structure answers?
3. Communication Style (Optional - Collapsed by Default)
- How should your persona approach problems?
- How should conversations progress?
4. Examples & Guardrails (Optional - Collapsed by Default)
- Show your persona how to respond
- What should your persona avoid or always do?
Saving Your Changes:
- Click Save in the top-right header when you’re done
- Changes apply immediately to new conversations
- An “Unsaved changes” badge appears if you have pending edits
