Build Your Knowledge Library

The Knowledge Library is the foundation of your AI clone - a centralized repository where you upload all your expertise, content, and information. Once uploaded, you can selectively attach knowledge sources to different personas based on their specific roles.

Understanding the Knowledge Library

What is the Knowledge Library?

The Knowledge Library acts as your personal content repository where you:

  • 📚 Upload knowledge sources once to a central location
  • 🔄 Reuse the same content across multiple personas
  • 🎯 Selectively enable relevant knowledge for each persona
  • 📊 Manage all your content in one place

How It Works

  1. Upload to Library - Add content to your central Knowledge Library (this guide)
  2. Link to Personas - Choose which knowledge sources each persona can access
  3. AI Training - Your personas learn from their assigned knowledge sources

💡 Example workflow: Upload your product FAQ once, then enable it for both your “Support Persona” and “Sales Persona” - no need to upload twice!

Accessing Your Knowledge Library

  1. Log in to your MyClone dashboard
  2. Navigate to Knowledge Library in the sidebar
  3. You’ll see all your uploaded knowledge sources here

Processing & Review

What Happens During Processing?

After uploading content:

  1. ⏱️ Processing time: 1-5 minutes (varies by content size and type)
  2. 🤖 AI extraction: The system extracts key information and insights
  3. Ready to use: Once complete, the knowledge source appears in your library
  4. 🔗 Link to personas: You can now attach this knowledge to your personas

How to Know When Processing is Complete

  • Check the status indicator in your Knowledge Library
  • Processed items show as “Ready” or “Active”
  • You’ll receive a notification when processing completes (if enabled)

After uploading knowledge to your library, you need to link it to your personas. Each persona can have different knowledge sources enabled based on its purpose.

Example:

  • Your “Support Persona” might use only FAQs and product documentation
  • Your “Sales Persona” might use product features, pricing, and case studies
  • Your default persona might have access to all 47 knowledge sources
